The flag blows gently in the breeze across this land we call Home...across our great country of the United States...

We go about our lives ... but do we stop and think each morning ... about the price of freedom?

The price of freedom ... of being able to go about our lives ... to live them as a free people ... to live in this democracy...

The price of Freedom...

Far across the sea... a young man sits with his gun...staring into the darkened skies ... thinking of his family back in the states ... and yet ever listening for the slightest sound...

A young woman rides in a truck through the desert ... not knowing for sure if they will make it ... for ahead is enemy land ... ahead is a danger she has never seen ... and yet in her heart ... woven into her very soul is a love for her country ... for what American stands for...

These are our best ... these are our brave...

The price of freedom...

A young man full of dreams for the future... of the day when he can return home and marry the girl he loves so much... He dreams of a family ... of building a home...

This is the price of freedom...

On the shores of foreign soil ... in Korea ... in Vietnam ... in Italy... France... Germany ... they are there... These brave young men and women who paid the ultimate price of freedom...

They are also in the hearts of those who loved them ... of those who waited for them to come back home ... only they could not...for on those shores they gave all ... they paid the price of freedom...

May we never forget ... may each day we remember ... those who are today still paying the price of freedom...

May we never forget ... may we pray for them ... may we remember ... our flag does not just wave in the breeze ... it is there because men and women stood up ... when the time came ... they did not run...
They gave all...

They gave all...
