Room for improvement
Although life
is far from
perfect, it is
completely
abundant and very
much worth every
moment of living.
Yes, there are
always things that
could be improved,
and that is a
blessing in
itself. For it
means that you are
alive and able to
make things
happen. It means
that there is
always the option
of reaching ever
higher.
There is always
room for
improvement, and
that means there
is always room to
grow. Weaknesses
can be transformed
into strengths,
and liabilities
can be changed
into assets.
Where there is
room for
improvement, there
are also the seeds
of opportunity and
accomplishment.
Businesses,
careers and entire
industries are
built on the need
and desire for
continuing,
expanding
improvement.
When there is
something that
needs to be
improved, learn to
see it not as a
deficiency. See it
for what it is,
which is a
magnificent
opportunity. If
there is room for
improvement, there
is the real
possibility of
greatness.

No substitute
There is no
substitute for
happiness, nor
does there need to
be. Because
happiness, peace,
contentment and
fulfillment are
there for the
living of them.
You can fill your
life with
excitement and
thrills, but those
things on their
own will not make
you happy. You can
load yourself up
with material
possessions, yet
they are no
substitute for
being genuinely
happy.
Happiness is
not something for
which you must
wait until the
conditions are
right. And
happiness is not
something that the
right conditions,
on their own, can
ever bring you.
Happiness is
not just for a
lucky few. It is
for anyone who
chooses to live
and to express it.
Happiness is not a
selfish pursuit.
Indeed, your
genuine happiness
brings value not
only to you, but
to those around
you as well.
You need no
reason to be
happy, and there
is no reason that
happiness can be
withheld from you.
Choose happiness,
and choose to live
each moment with
the joy that is
surely here.

Enthusiasm
It costs
nothing, yet it
can help to bring
you just about
anything. It can
draw people to you
and compel them to
give their
support. It is
enthusiasm. And
when you have it,
you have a
powerful force
working in your
favor.
Enthusiasm is
contagious. So get
yourself around
others with
enthusiasm, and
you'll have a lot
more of it.
Looking for a
way of getting
yourself to do
those things that
you know must be
done? Put some
enthusiasm on your
side. When you're
excited and
enthusiastic about
where you're
going, guess what
happens? You'll
find a way to get
there.
Put a smile on
your face and a
spring in your
step, and don't be
afraid to show
some real
enthusiasm. It
will surely take
you far.

Pull the plug
Your doubts
have no power
except for the
power you give
them. At any time
you can pull the
plug. Those
doubts, fears and
other negative
thoughts can
become so familiar
that you may think
they're a part of
you. Yet they are
not a part of you.
They are only
things that you
have chosen to
hold. And when you
choose, you can
let them go.
Imagine being
free of the
doubts, the
anxieties, the
fears. Then
realize that your
imagination is the
only place where
they can possibly
exist. When you
can imagine being
free of them, you
are indeed free of
them. You have the
power at any time
to pull the plug.
There is no
need to tolerate
even one more
moment of being
less than the best
you can be. Let go
of those thoughts
that hold you
back, and let
yourself be free.

Marston
