We will forever be changed by Sept
11,2001 but there are
some things that were not taken
away on that day...
One of those is the memories of
all the times we shared with
those that are no longer here...
We will forever see their smiles in our memories... hear their
laughter and remember the times we
shared with them. And the love
they left behind will take us to
those memories time and time
again.
And although the World Trade
Center Towers are not there for us
to see, we will see them in our
memories forever. The lights may
no longer shine but inside of
us...deep within our hearts where
the evil men can not touch...
these lights will forever burn.
And although the sadness of that
day will never be forgotten...
the Spirit of America still
lives... and although our tears
still flow...our
love for American still is
there... only much stronger now.
And our flag still waves over a
land there is free... and not
only does it wave from the
flagpoles across this land... it
waves from the
front porches of homes... it waves
from cars... it waves from the
hands of our children... across
the sea the evil men burn our
flag... but they cannot burn what
she stands for... they cannot
touch what she means...
All over America... people are
saying with renewed meaning and
vigor...."God Bless America!" The
evil men sought to do away with
our
faith... they only served to make
it stronger... to cause us to join
hands... and hearts... and to
march ever onward... for this land
does not retreat... There will
always be memories of the way we
were... memories we will cherish
forever... and a time we shall
never forget... and we will
remember...
And as we do, we will become all
the more united... and our
faith... our hope for the
future... and our children will
always remain...
