from
Ohio.
She
and
I
have
been
"Best
Friends
since
1997!"
We
first
met
on
the
Cat
News
Groups
way
back
when!
Ever
since
then,
she
and
I
have
always
been
in
touch
with
phone
calls,
emails
and
the
like.
I
went
out
to
visit
with
Karen
during
1998.
A
trip
I
will
NEVER
regret!
We
had
such
a
great
Time
together
-
did
so
many
great
things,
but
most
importantly,
we
spent
time
together.
I
got
to
meet
her
pet
friends:
Benji
&
Snoopy
-
2
Ragdoll
cats;
&
the
Talking
P.J.
The
Cockatiel!
They
have
since
gone
to
Rainbow
Bridge
-
but
they
were
SO
beautiful
&
Special,
and
I
enjoyed
every
minute
with
them!
Karen
is
one
of
the
most
wonderful
friends
I've
ever
met
or
had.
There
is
not
one
mean
bone
in
her
body.
She
herself
will
never
complain,
but
has
been
through
hell
and
back
with
medical
problems,
and
so
on.

Close
Friend
In
Friendship
-
Always
have
&
Always
Will!
Some
people
such
as
Karen
come
into
our
lives
and
make
that
Special
"Dent!"
A
Connection!
Unexplainable
but,
Worthy
and
you
find
yourself
accepting
it.
Before
long,
you're
"Comfortable
with
this
person
-
feeling
that
you've
known
her
all
your
life!"
This
is
the
way
I
feel
about
Karen,
and
I
always
will. Too
bad
though
that
there
are
SO
many
miles
between
us.
Not
being
able
to
sit
down
together
and
have
a
Chat
with
a
Cup
Of
Coffee!
That
distance
between
Ohio
and
Connecticut
is
a
LONG
one
-
I
hope
that
we'll
be
able
to
continue
our
"Long
Distance
Friendship,"
for
years
to
come.
Being
realistic:
She
has
her
life
and
I
have
mine.
Emails
and
occasional
phone
calls
can
only
go
so
far. But
whatever
happens
with
our
Friendship,
I
know
will
be
right
and
acceptable
for
both
of
us.
I
HAD
a
Friend
who
lived
FAR
away
in
another
Country;
she
and
I
also
were
close
friends;
we'd
mail
one
another
every
single
day,
and
I'd
phone
her
often.
But,
it
just
didn't
work
out,
and
we
were
merely
Pen-Pals.
That
relationship
ended
around
Christmas,
2009
-
Pauline
was
her
name
from
the
UK. I
have
moved
on,
and
if
things
don't
work
our
with
Karen,
then
I
also
accept
and
understand
that
it's
HARD
to
keep
up
a
Pen
Pal
Friendship
with
occasional
phone
calls!
