For
clothes on
my back,
Shoes on
my feet,
And never
the lack,
Of
something
to eat,
For peace
of mind,
In a world
that's
troubled,
And the
joy I
find,
When my
blessings
are
doubled,
I'm
grateful,
Lord!
For You're
always
hearing,
Each time
I pray,
And Your
presence
so
endearing,
That
brightens
my way,
For
protection
in the
night,
While I'm
fast
asleep,
And
knowing
'til
morning
light,
My soul
You will
keep,
I'm
grateful
Lord!
For my
family's
love,
The
fellowship
of
friends,
And for
God up
above,
Whose love
never
ends,
For Your
going
away,
To prepare
a place
for me,
Where some
happy day,
Together
we shall
be,
I'm
grateful,
Lord!
