Have you ever felt led to do something that didn't make sense?
Have you ever wondered how God was going to work things out in
your life?
Have you ever been afraid to take new step in a new direction?
Have you ever felt like taking a leap of faith even though you
didn't see a net?
Have you ever gone on an interview for a job, filled out an
application for that beautiful condo/apt/home or took a test
drive in that new car?
Have you ever started a business not knowing where the customers
were coming from?
Have you ever moved to a new city?
Have you ever taken a chance on love?
Have you ever told a bill collector, "that bill will be paid by
this month" not knowing where the money was coming from?
Have you sent your child to college not knowing how the tuition
would be paid?
Have you ever walked away from drama, stress, pain, abuse or
confusion not knowing where you would end up?
"Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of
things NOT seen." (Hebrews 11:1)
I've done some of those things and realized that wherever God
leads me, He feeds me. Wherever He guides...He provides.
A doubting man once said to his friend who was a believer,
"I believe if you thought the Lord told you to jump through a
stone wall, you'd jump."
The believer replied, "If the Lord told me to jump through a
stone wall, it would be my business to jump,
and it would be His business to make a hole."
Of course, you must pray for wisdom and discernment.
I encourage you today to deepen your faith.
Trust...obey...pray...and take it one step at a time.
The net or the hole will appear.
The money or the opportunity will appear.
The application will go through.
The love will be returned.
The doctor will give a better report.
A door will open that you didn't see before.
The customers will come.
Your family will be restored.
Love will come again.
Your income will increase.
Food will be on your table
and a roof over your head.
"With God All Things are Possible.".. Matthew 19:26
(This affirmative scripture is something I wear on my wrist
everyday to remind me of the mystery and miracles of God.)
