God Will Not
Forget

"Tuesday Morning"

This Tuesday morning
I awoke just like
any other.
I planned to do my
job as a Daycare
Provider and to my
children be a
Mother. While
drinking my coffee
on the porch I
looked to the sky to
say......
"Thank you, Lord for
this Beautiful
morning, and be with
me through the day."

Off to school the
children went as I
blew them a kiss
from my hand.
Then a neighbor
shared some news
with me that I
barely could
withstand. An
airplane had crashed
into the World Trade
Center and it was
being reported on
T.V.
I ran inside to see
the news, and with
horror fell to my
knees.

With my eyes, I
couldn't believe
what I saw, so much
destruction and loss
of life.
Then another plane
plummeted into the
tower that stood
directly by it's
side.

My hand to my mouth
in disbelief, I
whispered, "Oh My
God, What Do I Do?"
The United States
was being attacked
and No One knew Why?
Or Who?

I called my Mother
and then my Husband
to try and make
sense of it all.
Then I was filled
with Hopelessness
and started to cry
as the building
began to fall.

All I could think
was "Are My Children
Safe?" My heart was
beating with fear.
During the drive to
get them the World
was a blur as I
looked at it through
my tears.

Words of assurance I
had to give to them
to the questions
that they asked.
But could not ignore
the sadness on the
faces in the cars
that steadily,
passed.

I realized that I
was not alone with
the way I felt
inside. This act of
violence had crushed
our hearts but
lifted this
country's PRIDE.

The Day went on and
I asked for strength
from the Lord up
above,
"Please Lord Unite
The People on earth
and conquer this
hate with LOVE?"

"God
Will Not Forget"

"One Nation Under
GOD", Are Words I
Speak With Pride
When I Pledge
Allegiance To Our
Flag ,Our Lord I
will Not Hide.

No Matter How Mighty
You Appear In Your
Robe Of Black,
No Judge Has The
Strength To Hold My
Feelings Back.

To Take "GOD" From
This Nation From Who
It Was Created,
Has Gotten More Than
A Few Americans, A
Little Agitated.

So I am Exercising
My Right , You Know
The One "Freedom Of
Speech",
And The Original
Pledge Of Allegiance
To My Children I
Will Teach.

They Will Know That
Under God This
Country It Was Born
And How He Opened
Heavens Doors On
That September 11th
Morn.

A Day That You Have
Forgotten By
Suggesting Such A
Change,
And Insulted This
Countries Pride By
Taking Out His Name.

So As You Sit Up
There Behind Your
Desk And Claim You
Fight For Justice
I Feel I Need To
Remind You That GOD
Will NOT Forget
This.

He
Has
Learned....................

PFC Joseph Dewitt
runs while carrying
an Iraqi boy injured
during a heavy
battle near Al
Faysaliyah, March
25. (Warren Zinn,
Army Times)

As A Man He Has
Learned To Always
Have Strength, No
Matter What Life May
Bring.
But As God's
Soldier, He Knows
He's Been Issued A
Pair Of Durable
Wings.

As A Father He Has
learned The
Strongest Love, And
Embraces This Child
As His own.
He Knows The
Greatest Fear That a
Child Can Feel is
The Fear Of Being
Alone.

As A Husband He's
Learned Commitment
And To Never Give Up
On Love.
And To Cherish Every
Moment With Her By
Putting No Other
Above.

As A Son He's
Learned Respect, To
Give And You Shall
Receive.
And Will Always
Remember, To Succeed
In Life, A Man
Simply Has to
Believe.

As A Soldier He's
Learned To Have
Pride As He Fights
For Our Country's
Freedom.
And Knows When He
Returns From War,
Open Arms Will Be
There To Greet Him.

And Now He Will
learn That He Is A
Hero, By Comforting
A Child In Pain.
A Selfless Act By A
Man And Soldier, And
Humble He Will
remain.
